St. George on Yonge is a self-supporting church and doesn’t receive government funding. Although our parish may receive support from the Anglican Diocese of Toronto from time to time, we are also required to give a portion of our income to the Diocese. We also partner with and support other charitable projects and organizations.
If you would like to support St. George and its programming, there are several ways you can donate:

Direct debit through Pre-authorized remittance (PAR)
Parishioners are invited to sign up for PAR which automatically debits monthly donations to St. George from your financial institution. You control the amount you choose to donate and how you want it allocated. These automatic debits allow the Church leadership and treasurer to manage costs and administer its budget. Cheque
You are welcome to donate by cheque (payable to St. George on Yonge). Cheques can be dropped off at the Church, or mailed to:

Collection plate offerings
The congregation can continue to donate through their offertory envelopes, cash, and cheques during worship services.
Tax receipts
Official receipts for income tax purposes will be issued for any donations over $10.
