8 a.m. Communion – Currently suspended due to COVID
Our early service on Sunday, held in our chapel, is a quiet worship service using traditional language from the Book of Alternative Services.
10:00 a.m. Communion with music and programs for children and youth
At 10:00 a.m. we come together to pray, to sing, to learn and to share in the sacrament of Communion. This service uses the more modern liturgies from the Book of Alternative Services. A full range of programs for children and youth is offered during this service.
Following the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service, St. George has a coffee hour popular with parishioners and newcomers alike, as it provides an opportunity for fellowship.
On the first Sunday of the month, we offer a ministry of anointing with prayers for healing at both the 8 and 10:30 am services.
The ministry team of St. George on Yonge provides worship services for residents at several seniors’ residences in the neighbourhood including Delmanor and Lansing. For more information, please speak to a member of the ministry team.
During Advent and Lent (the times in our church year leading up to Christmas and Easter). we have weekday Candlelight Communion services in the chapel. They are quiet, meditative and include contemplative music with only candles for light.
