8 a.m. Communion – Currently suspended due to COVID
Our early service on Sunday, held in our chapel, is a quiet worship service using traditional language from the Book of Alternative Services.
10:00 a.m. Communion
At 10:00 a.m. we come together to pray, to learn and to share in the sacrament of Communion. This service uses the more modern liturgies from the Book of Alternative Services. It is also being livestreamed on Facebook. Check the website home page for more information.
A full range of programs for children and youth is offered during this service. – Currently suspended due to COVID. Children’s story and activity bulletins are available at the Sunday services or can be emailed ahead of time. Please contact the office if you would like this emailed to you weekly.
Following the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service, St. George has a coffee hour popular with parishioners and newcomers alike, as it provides an opportunity for fellowship. During the summer months we have Lemonade on the Lawn – weather permitting. We are happy to be back having our social time after not being able to because of COVID.
On the first Sunday of the month, we offer a ministry of anointing with prayers for healing at both the 8 and 10:30 am services. Currently suspended due to COVID
The ministry team of St. George on Yonge provides worship services for residents at several seniors’ residences in the neighbourhood including Delmanor and Lansing. For more information, please speak to a member of the ministry team. Currently suspended due to COVID
During Advent and Lent (the times in our church year leading up to Christmas and Easter). we have weekday Candlelight Communion services in the chapel. They are quiet, meditative and include contemplative music with only candles for light. Specific services are different due to COVID. Please check the website events page for current information.
