10:00 a.m. Communion
At 10:00 a.m. we come together to pray, to learn and to share in the sacrament of Communion. This service uses the more modern liturgies from the Book of Alternative Services. Most Sundays it is also being livestreamed on Facebook. Check the website home page for more information.
From September to June we have our children’s program during this service. It’s for children 3 – 12 years of age. During the summer, activity bulletins are available from the welcome desk for the children to work on during the service.
Following the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service, St. George has a coffee hour popular with parishioners and newcomers alike, as it provides an opportunity for fellowship. During the summer months we have Lemonade on the Lawn – weather permitting.
On the last Sunday of the month, we offer a ministry of anointing with prayers for healing at the 10:00 am service.
The ministry team of St. George on Yonge provided worship services for residents at several seniors’ residences in the neighbourhood. We are back at Delmanor with services on the second Tuesday of the month starting at 10:30 a.m. For more information, please speak to a member of the ministry team.
During Advent and Lent (the times in our church year leading up to Christmas and Easter). we have weekday Candlelight Communion services in the chapel. They are quiet, meditative and include contemplative music with only candles for light. Please check the website events page for current information.
Please contact us about baptisms, weddings or funerals. We are happy to journey with you through these important moments in your lives.
