Connect Group

Connect Groups are spiritual, informal groups that facilitate meaningful community in our church. We meet on a regular schedule and offer a welcoming, close-knit environment of friendship, Bible study, prayer, and conversation.

Connect Groups offer a way to get connected quickly in a meaningful way and deepen your relationship with Jesus.  Do you currently worship at St. George? You don’t need to belong to our community to join a Connect Group. Everyone is welcome!

As of June 8, 2026, we begin Practicing the way, a Connect Groups journey based on the book Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer, with a focus on learning how to intentionally follow Jesus in everyday life.

We will explore spiritual practices modeled by Jesus and practiced by Christians throughout church history, including:

• Scripture
• Prayer
• Sabbath
• Solitude and Silence
• Fasting
• Community
• Generosity
• Service
• Witness
