Children’s Program
We meet in the Narthex during the service. We use the Sermons 4 Kids program and do a combined class for children 3-11 years of age. We join in for Communion and then go back to the Narthex to finish up our activities until the service is over.
Iranian Bible Study
St. George on Yonge Anglican Church is holding new Bible Study lessons for its Iranian parishioners. Our spiritual sessions will concentrate on the Gospels and their accounts of Jesus’ life, divinity, miracles, and parables in an effort to come to an understanding of his teachings and blessings that are his legacy for human beings.
The Bible studies enlighten our minds and lighten our hearts. They remind us of our essential truth and teach us how collective faith can help us walk more steadfastly in the way of the Lord.
St. George on Yonge Anglican Church congregants come from different ethnicities, cultures, and languages. However, we are firmly connected by a common passion, which is the pursuit of Jesus Christ.
Place: St. George on Yonge Anglican Church
Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

Celebration of New Ministry
We are holding a Celebration of New Ministry for our incumbent, The Reverend Alexandra (Ali) McIntosh, on Sunday, October 25, 2026. This special service marks the official induction of Rev. Ali as our spiritual leader and celebrates the covenant of shared ministry between Rev. Ali, the parish community, and the wider diocese.
The service will be followed by dinner in the Parish Hall. All church members are warmly invited to celebrate this milestone in the life of our parish.
For planning purposes, it would be greatly appreciated if church members who plan to attend the dinner could confirm their attendance by signing up at the Welcome Table before or after the service on Sunday, October 11, or Sunday, October 18, 2026.

Connect Group
Connect Groups are spiritual, informal groups that facilitate meaningful community in our church. We meet on a regular schedule and offer a welcoming, close-knit environment of friendship, Bible study, prayer, and conversation.
Connect Groups offer a way to get connected quickly in a meaningful way and deepen your relationship with Jesus. Do you currently worship at St. George? You don’t need to belong to our community to join a Connect Group. Everyone is welcome!
As of June 8, 2026, we begin Practicing the way, a Connect Groups journey based on the book Practicing the Way by John Mark Comer, with a focus on learning how to intentionally follow Jesus in everyday life.
We will explore spiritual practices modeled by Jesus and practiced by Christians throughout church history, including:
- Scripture
- Prayer
- Sabbath
- Solitude and Silence
- Fasting
- Community
- Generosity
- Service
- Witness
For more information, visit the Connect Groups web page. To participate, email the Church office – office@nullstgeorgeonyonge.ca for the link to the Zoom meeting.
